About the Charka Philosophy - The belief is that the body has specific energy centers, called chakras.  The function, is  to regulate the flow of energy through our energy system. Each Chakra corresponds to  a part of the body as well as a musical tone.  When these energy centers are clear and without problems

When these energy centers become blocked,  unusual physical manifestations of illness might  be causing the block

Below are some possible reasons for Blocks:

1. The Root - when blocked, it may produce back aches, spinal  problems, muscle tension and general tightness, even tailbone problems. Having the inability to ground ones self.

2. Sacral - When blocked physical manifestations may include, kidney problems, incontinence, liver problems, thorasic spine problems. It may also be indicative of sexual dysfunction and lack of libido even hysterectomy or sexual guilt

3. Solar Plexus - When blocked stomach problems may  develop. Ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, and a myriad of digestive conditions and cancers

4. Heart - When blocked, symptoms that develop are heart disease, high blood pressure, possibly high cholesterol, angina, chronic breathing illnesses and others. 

5. Throat - When blocked illness  may involve chronic tonsillitis, sore throat, speech problems, stuttering, and other impediments. Ineffective at communication

6.Brow or Third Eye - When blocked , constant headaches, severe migraines, brain anomalies. blocked intuitive abilities, writers block, inability to think or reason clearly. 

7. Crown -When blocked a person may feel a disconnection to higher source, God, spiritual communication, Psychic ability,  Inner Knowing.
